For some reason, I really find old signs inspiring. The polished perfection in faded glory. I found this one irresistible, on my journey from Sydney to Melbourne, on the side of the Princess Highway. After a bit of digging around, it appears on the 8th of August, 2000 and its 62nd day, the flame passed through Rosedale going from Bairnsdale to Morwell. I found this info, at a weird archived ABC website that itself could be classified as an Old Sign. Anyway, I have a feeling, that this sign isn't legit! Funny though, the sign-writers, or petrol station owners, really captured the communist propaganda vibe to a T!
